It was a privilege to be a invited speaker at the Le Groupe de recherche sur la formation et les pratiques en santé et service social en contexte francophone minoritaire (GReFoPS) symposium on language discordance in health care. On behalf of our team, I presented a journey through our research program on the impacts of language and cultural discordant care from the perspectives of patients, caregivers, and care providers in a variety of different clinical settings including primary, home, and palliative care.
