Exploring experiences of language and cultural discordant care for home care providers and service users in Ontario.

About

Patient-provider language discordance can have a negative impact on access to health services and quality of care, especially for patients from ethnocultural and linguistic minority groups. In this study, we are exploring the experiences of home care recipients and providers in the Champlain region near Ottawa, Ontario to understand the impact of linguistic and cultural discordance in the home care sector.
