Guided by Knowledge Keeper Arlene Meekis, we are in Sioux Lookout talking to Council members with Wawakapewin First Nation and food sovereignty community leaders as part of our CIHR-funded Change Champions project. We were privileged to experience the teachings of four inspiring women by participating in a sharing circle with them where we learned about their histories with food and hopes for the future through storytelling.
